Freelance work that pays when it's done.
ClickLancer is one marketplace for two kinds of work: projects like video editing, livestream clipping and web development, and quick microtasks. Clients pay before the work starts, every rejection comes with a reason, and fees are shown before anyone commits.

Two ways to work, one account
Same balance, same reputation, same rules on payment. Hire or work in whichever mode fits the job.
Projects
For skilled work with a clear scope.
- Clients post a job and freelancers send proposals.
- The client hires one freelancer and pays the agreed price before work starts.
- Up to two revision rounds, each with a written reason.
- The client has 7 days to review. After that, it's approved automatically.
Microtasks
For quick, repeatable jobs done by many people at once.
- Clients fund a campaign with a set number of paid slots.
- Pick up a task, follow the steps and submit your proof.
- The review window is shown before you start, and it auto-approves when it runs out.
- Rejections come with a reason, and you can appeal.
What's broken, and what we're doing about it
If you've freelanced on the big platforms, you've probably hit most of these.
The usual experience
On ClickLancer
You finish the work, then find out the client never had the money, or your pay sits on hold for weeks.
The client pays before work starts. Approved work goes straight to your ClickLancer balance.
Work gets rejected with no explanation, and there's nobody to ask.
Every rejection needs a specific reason. You can appeal, and a person on our team settles disputes.
A client never reviews your submission, so you never get paid.
Every job shows its review window before you start. If the client doesn't respond in time, it's approved automatically.
Fees come out of your pay, and you find out how much after the fact.
Low fees, shown up front. Clients see the total before paying; you see what you'll take home before you accept.
Task lists full of fake reviews, follows and sketchy surveys.
Real work for real businesses. We don't allow tasks that fake engagement or game other platforms.
Built for the work other platforms don't handle well
01
Video editing
Full edits from raw footage. Deliver the file, handle a round of notes, get paid.
02
Livestream clipping
Turn a three-hour stream into the ten clips worth posting, as a one-off project or an ongoing campaign.
03
Web development
Landing pages, fixes and full builds, scoped and paid up front so nobody is left guessing.
04
Everyday microtasks
App testing, data tagging, transcription checks and other small jobs with a clear right answer.
How a job works
The same four steps whether it's a two-minute check or a two-week build.
- 1
The client describes the work and pays for it
The price, the deadline, what counts as done and how long they have to review. The money is collected before the job goes live.
- 2
You do the work
Send a proposal for a project, or pick up a microtask straight away. Either way, you know the pay and the rules before you start.
- 3
The client reviews it
They approve it, ask for a revision with a reason, or reject it with a reason. If they go quiet, the review window closes it in your favor.
- 4
You get paid
The payment lands in your ClickLancer balance as soon as the work is approved. Disagreements go to a real person on our team, not a form letter.
Questions
When does ClickLancer launch?+
We're building it now. People on the waitlist get access first, and we'll email you as soon as it's open.
What will it cost?+
Joining is free. ClickLancer charges small fees on completed work, and they're always shown before anyone commits: clients see the total before they pay, and freelancers see what they'll take home before they accept. We'll publish the exact numbers before launch.
Do I have to do microtasks before I can get projects?+
No. Projects and microtasks share one account and one balance, but you can go straight to projects once your account is verified.
What if a client rejects my work unfairly?+
They can't reject without giving a reason, and you can see it. You can appeal to the client, and if that doesn't settle it, a ClickLancer moderator looks at the evidence and decides.
I hire people. Why would I use this instead of what I use now?+
Because the work you actually need, like edits, clips and site builds, has a proper home here, and workers who trust they'll be paid fairly do better work.
What do you do with my email address?+
We only use it to tell you about ClickLancer's launch, and you can unsubscribe or ask us to delete it any time. Read the privacy policy.
